分布[編集]
ユーラシア大陸やアフリカ大陸、北アメリカの池沼や河川で見られる。
生態[編集]
雑食性である。
分類[編集]
10属50種近くを含む。
人間との関係[編集]
アクアリウムで飼育される事があり、特にミシシッピアカミミガメは野外に放たれ、外来種問題になっている。
