デンキウナギ目 ( - もく) とは、骨鰾上目のグループである。
形状[編集]
分布[編集]
南米の淡水に生息する。一部種は、採食のために汽水域に移動する。主に夜行性。
生態[編集]
デンキウナギ目魚類は電気魚であり、獲物の検出、航行、コミュニケーションのためなど目的に応じて電場を発生させることができる。
デンキウナギは攻撃や防御にも用いる。
